She received a master's degree in studio art from University of Minnesota. She has taught art and pottery to every age group. She taught Ceramics at Union College in Schenectady, New York from 1999 to 2016.\nIn 1988 she opened TWO SPRUCE POTTERY, her studio and sales gallery in Schenectady, New York.\nIn 2010 the retail gallery was closed and the studio was moved to Nancy's home in Charlton, New York and later to Saratoga Springs, New York.\nShe is a founding member, along with five other artists of The Cottage of Art and Design, a co-op gallery at 73 Beekman Street, Saratoga Springs.\n"}]}
